Weekend is great time to review options for 2021 benefits; enrollment ends Nov. 10

Benefits open enrollment ends at 6 p.m. ET Nov. 10, and employees should allow enough time to complete and submit their enrollment before the deadline.

Employees can enroll for 2021 benefits using Benefitfocus via the OneCampus portal. Select the “Benefits Open Enrollment for Faculty & Staff” icon and then log in with PUID username and BoilerKey. Or they may enroll using the Benefitplace mobile app, for which the Benefitplace App video has more information.

All employees are asked to actively enroll during this open enrollment window; otherwise, benefit elections will default as follows:

• Medical: Defaults to Limited CDHP (employee-only coverage as a tobacco user).
• Dental: Defaults to preventive dental (employee-only coverage).
• Vision: Defaults to employee-only coverage.
• Health savings account (HSA) or health reimbursement arrangement (HRA): No coverage.
• Flexible spending accounts (FSA): Not enrolled (health care, limited purpose or dependent care).
• Critical illness, supplemental hospital and accident insurance: No coverage.

Note: Employees are responsible for the premiums for default coverage. No changes can be made during the plan year, unless employees have a qualifying life event.
