Former U.S. Sens. Joe Lieberman and Evan Bayh on Tuesday (March 3) will share a conversation titled “Beyond Labels: Addressing the Grand Challenge of Democracy Together.” President Mitch Daniels will moderate the talk, which is a featured event in the semester series with the theme “Democracy, Civility, and Freedom of Expression.” Tickets are needed but are free. The themes, always relevant, may be especially important in a presidential election year. Such public conversation is vital. Don’t Miss It!

“Beyond Labels: Addressing the Grand Challenge of Democracy Together” will place President Mitch Daniels in armchair discussion with two former U.S. senators, Evan Bayh of Indiana and Joe Lieberman of Connecticut. The event, organized by the  Division of Diversity and Inclusion, is a feature event under the semester theme of “Democracy, Civility, and Freedom of Expression.” 6-7:30 p.m. STEW, Loeb Playhouse. Casting Crowns band members Casting Crowns on its Only Jesus Tour

“Hecho en Puelto Rico” (Made in Puerto Rico), a poignant drama, tells the story of graduating student intending to leave “Puelto Rico” and its economic woes who learns more about his cultural roots and the island’s history.
