An upcoming Healthy Boiler workshop will focus on the benefits of meal prepping at home, including prepping for healthy, packed lunches and saving time, energy and money throughout the week.

Led by Lindsay Bloom, health coach at Purdue Fort Wayne, the workshop supports the physical health and financial wellness pillars of the Healthy Boiler Program and will teach participants strategies around menu planning and creating a shopping list.

“If your mealtime goals are to have healthy meals prepared and on the table quickly, then this workshop is for you,” Bloom says.

The workshop takes place from noon-1 p.m. ET on Sept. 19. Those interested in participating should register by Sept. 18 via the Healthy Boiler Portal. The registration link can be found under the “Healthy Boiler Workshops” section on the portal’s homepage. Hover over “Meal Prepping” and click on “Submit” to register.

Healthy Boiler workshops are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan.
