LGBTQ Center Liaisons

These departments host recurring hours in the LGBTQ Center on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. LGBTQ Center staff are able to refer students to these resources at any time. Please refer to our social media or newsletter for the most current liaison schedule.

Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) and Pre-Professional Advising (PPA) informs and empowers students and graduates using transformative career services through career coaching, embracing differences, and connecting students with professional opportunities within Indiana, the United States and globally.

Online Writing Lab (OWL) offers global support through online reference materials and services for creating citations, cover letters, major-specific writing help, and general writing advice.

Center for Advocacy, Resources, and Education (CARE) empowers the Boilermaker community by providing confidential support, resources and advocacy for students impacted by stalking, relationship violence, sexual exploitation, and sexual violence, and develop student leaders to assist with campus-wide prevention education to create a safer community for all.

Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) offers same-day/next-day services for any student seeking care with no predefined session limits and most services are free. Treatment services are brief and based on need. CAPS offers 24/7 access to crisis services by calling their main line at (765) 494-6995.

General Campus Resources

In 2021, the LGBTQ Center coordinated a group of volunteers from the AGR 201: Communicating Across Cultures class to record every gender-inclusive restroom on campus and make it available as a Google Maps Filter.
