The Student Farm will be hosting an Insect Collecting Workshop on Tuesday, May 10th at 10:00 am. Dr. Laura Ingwell and her lab will be running the workshop. Ariana Torres received funding from the HRI (Horticulture Research Institute) to work on the Marketplace Acceptance of Native Plants. She will be working with collaborators from University of Tennessee, University of Delaware, and Michigan State University to investigate consumers’ demand, preferences, and attitudes for native plants.
