The Women’s Global Health Institute Student Chapter
Purpose: The purpose of the WGHI Student Chapter is to bring more graduate and undergraduate student involvement to the WGHI, to promote academic and social communication of scientific advances in women’s health, and to provide students the opportunity to develop leadership skills.
We’re excited to announce an upcoming fundraising event in collaboration with the Catherine Peachy Fund this June 23, 2025 —and we need your help to make it both meaningful and beautiful.
As scientists, we generate stunning images—from the intricate patterns of stained cells to the elegance of protein structures. We invite you to submit your visually striking biomedical images to be featured as scientific artwork in a charity auction. All proceeds will go toward the Catherine Peachy Fund which supports breast cancer research. Artist/s will be notified and recognized during the fundraising event. Selected artwork/s will be featured on our website and social media platforms.
What to submit (multiple submissions are welcome):
- High resolution image/s (at least 300 dpi) can include (but are not limited to) microscopy (e.g., cell or tissue staining), medical imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound), bacterial or fungal colonies, protein or DNA structures, or any visually compelling scientific visualization. Images do not have to be related to breast cancer research! (Your own published image/s or unpublished image/s you are not planning to publish)
- Word file including the art title and short description
Deadline: May 26, 2025
Looking forward to your submissions!
