On Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. ET, NINR will hold a virtual workshop on innovative models of care for reducing inequities in maternal health.
This event will be streamed live via NIH VideoCast and registration is not required.
The workshop will explore how nurses, midwives, and birth companions can improve maternal and infant health, specifically for women in U.S. communities affected by structural and health inequalities.
The workshop is co-sponsored by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, Office of Research on Women’s Health, and Tribal Health Research Office.
