Purdue Social Circles

Would you like to connect with other Purdue employees through social clubs? Complete the surveys below.

As adults, we find ourselves going through our daily routines of work and home responsibilities. We often find it difficult to break from that routine. It is important for each of us to give quality time to ourselves. Sometimes, we forget to do things that make us happy. We don’t make time for our hobbies. Remember, we can build a fulfilling and satisfying life outside of our daily commitments by joining social clubs. Our mental health and job satisfaction can be greatly improved through these experiences. At Purdue, we often find ourselves going into our office and completing our tasks without much social interaction. We believe that we can create a better work environment by connecting employees across campus. Would you like to connect with others who share the same interests or hobbies? Joining social clubs can provide many opportunities for personal and professional growth. Participating in a club can provide leadership opportunities and develop professional skills. Also, connecting with other Purdue employees is a great way to network and find valuable resources of information.

Are you aware of any social clubs on campus that Purdue employees can participate in? Please complete this survey which can be shared with others interested in joining known social clubs.

Do you enjoy a hobby and would you like to be connected to others with the same hobby? Complete this survey to choose your hobbies. Would you like to join a social circle?

Our goal is to bring a greater sense of community and sense of belonging to the Purdue campus. The campus has so many employees and finding someone that you may connect with can be a challenge. We hope that creating Purdue Social Circles can unite people over lunch as they discuss their hobbies or plan events for others to join.

What hobbies do you enjoy? Chess, bowling, golfing, reading, sewing, woodworking, crafting, running, hiking, kayaking...
