    • If you are auditioning for more than one ensemble, such as jazz band and concert band, or another combination, please submit 2 separate video auditions.
    • There will be no sight-reading component.

Please include the following in the description of your YouTube posting:

How do I enroll in a jazz band?

    • Incoming Freshmen & Other New Students: Enroll with your academic advisor.
    • Students should initially register for BAND 11400-003 (CRN 11883).
    • After July 20, the results from across all auditions will be tabulated and rosters will be sent to all candidates. Several students will move into BAND 112, 113, or to a more specific section of 114 (Students will do this on their own after registration re-opens).  If the schedule does not allow for the ensemble assigned, our faculty will adjust on our end and communicate with the students directly.
