Carmen Buck

Carmen Buck (Graduate School Administration): The Young Hall beautification committee would like to thank Young Hall building deputy Carmen Buck for all of her help and support with our project to update Young Hall’s fourth-floor hoteling offices. Our team works fully remotely, so it has taken a lot of coordination to work through renovating these offices. Carmen is always helpful and responsive plus has amazing follow-through on everything we’ve asked of her. She connects us with the right people, has routed multiple shipments to the right rooms and even jumped in to help finish up some spaces when needed. Thank you, Carmen, for all of your help! You help make Purdue beautiful! – Laura Phillips (Purdue Online)

College of Education IT team

College of Education IT team: I cannot say enough good things about the College of Education's IT team. All members of the team are incredibly responsive, patient and extremely committed to providing exceptional IT assistance to staff members. Special shoutout to Bob Evans and Ted Fondak, who always take the time to answer even the smallest/simplest technology questions and drop everything to assist with an issue when needed. Our jobs in the College of Education would not be possible without them, and we are all incredibly thankful for the work they do. – Rachel Swank (College of Education Administration)

Stephanie Griswold

Stephanie Griswold (Office of the Executive Vice President for Research): We have had a lot of timely orders go through lately, and Stephanie has done a great job of communicating and approving our orders when needed. Pat Jaynes and Jun Wu

Pat Jaynes and Jun Wu (both Animal Sciences): In the absence of a building deputy, both Pat Jaynes and Jun Wu have stepped up to assist with ordering supplies, organizing necessary repairs, placing work order requests and assisting wherever in our second- and third-floor lab spaces. Both of them have been instrumental in promoting a culture of safety in the lab space and making sure that our self-audits and ISP recertification are completed in a timely manner. As interim building deputy, I deeply appreciate Pat and Jun for their assistance in taking care of the needs of the Department of Animal Sciences. – Marion Welsh (Animal Sciences)

They let us know they were very impressed by the prompt, caring and detailed response that they received from April in preparation for their visit, as is our department! – Samantha Ooley (Philosophy)
