The Purdue Entomological Research Collection (PERC), whose specimens date back to the beginnings of the University, contains the largest, most complete insect reference collection in Indiana. It's basically a library of bugs.
Purdue Profiles: Aaron Warren
From physics to astronomy to sundials, all of Aaron Warren's interests have one underlying theme -- a palpable enthusiasm for scientific inquiry. Warren, associate professor of physics at Purdue North Central, played an integral role in acquiring PNC's only public sundial from the North American Sundial Society in 2009. He is also an advisor for the Purdue North Central Astronomy Club.

As director for the Office of Institutional Research (OIR), Jacque Frost leads the office that serves as the go-to resource for information about Purdue students, faculty, staff and resources. Recall of these facts and figures would require an almost superhuman memory, but the six-person OIR team has networks of resources capable of drawing University data from campus and beyond.
Program encourages students to apply knowledge beyond the classroom
Susan Owens arrives for work at Lafayette’s St. Elizabeth Hospital late on a Monday afternoon in January. She will spend the next nine hours working side-by-side with emergency room physicians, an introduction to medicine every bit as valuable to her career plans as her work in science labs.
