Thumbs Up

Alisha Mosteller

Alisha Mosteller (Executive Offices Business Office Center): I have had some issues with getting vendors set up, and Alisha has gone above and beyond to help me with several of them and finish what needed to be done. – Valerie Taylor (Auxiliary)

Chrissie Strong

Chrissie Strong (Agricultural Economics): A special thank-you to Chrissie Strong for helping recruit students and building our department’s learning community! Jim Jones

Jim Jones (Mechanical Engineering): After more than 20 instrumental years, Jim Jones’ administrative appointment as the associate head for undergraduate education in Mechanical Engineering is coming to an end. We want to thank him for his incredible leadership, advocacy and support for the betterment of students, staff and faculty. Jim’s unwavering commitment to student success has impacted tens of thousands of students in the College of Engineering and has had a profound influence on the academic advisors to follow his lead. Molly Hansen

Molly Hansen (Building Services): Thank you, Molly, for your help with the ETHICS-2023 conference in WALC. You went above and beyond to keep our space clean, and I appreciate your hard work. – Amanda Shields (Purdue Conferences)

Richard Timbo

Richard Timbo (IT Customer Relations and Process Management): My computer took on a mind of its own and chose to get rid of my drives and calendars, and when I restarted it, it decided not to open my Outlook and made everything else so big that I couldn’t find anything. It was like being in an AI horror movie. It might have been amusing, except it happened at the most inopportune time when I was fixing an issue and needed my email and calendar the most. Luckily, Richard Timbo at the Purdue IT Service Desk was able to remote in and fix everything really quickly. He was very helpful and so nice. He had me laughing and calmed down in a matter of minutes, and he wasn’t judgmental when everything I said had disappeared was magically there. Thank you, Richard! I appreciate your help! It’s always good when someone can help you see the funny side of things! – Rhonda Haan (College of Agriculture Administration)

Ted Fondak

Ted Fondak (College of Education Administration): Thumbs-up to Ted, who is always willing to help with technical issues. He was so kind and helpful, and we figured out the solution to the problem! Thank you, Ted! – Leslie Sigg (Educational Studies)
