Mark Houser

Mark Houser (Grounds): Mark Houser provides green recycle bins. Recently several libraries started downsizing to combine into one unit in the WALC building. This creates a hurry up/wait for Mark’s help without notice. Recently Physics had both loading docks blocked with construction. My bins were full plus I took others from locations in the building and nearby. Mark was sorry but could not reach a dock to switch the bins. I asked if he could deliver empties that I could bring to the library from the ground floor. Within 12 hours of the request Mark had found a way to replace my bins by rolling them manually from Physics to another area to be loaded on the truck. By 8 a.m. he had finished the job. I say Mark has gone above and beyond his job requirements. He is a true example of looking for unusual solutions to difficult situations and he gives customer service a new benchmark.
