‘Student of Concern’ resources offered by Office of the Dean of Students

As Purdue approaches the start of a new academic year, the Office of the Dean of Students wants to remind the Purdue community of the Student of Concern Report to share concerns they may have regarding a student.

Signs that a student may be struggling include changed behavior, stopped attendance or participation in classes and activities, or concerning comments.

Faculty and staff can learn more about resources and concerns worth reporting by downloading the Student of Concern Guide. Hard copies of the guide can be requested by emailing odos@purdue.edu. Training sessions also are offered monthly and can be registered for online.

Questions can be directed to Steven Yeagley, associate dean of students – crisis management, at yeagley@purdue.edu.
