Finalists for director of summer session position to make presentations

The search committee for the position of director of summer session has announced that two finalists will be on campus Thursday and Friday (May 18 and 19).

As part of the interview process, finalists will make a 15- to 20-minute public presentation and then take questions from the audience. Feedback on the candidates will be requested.

Purdue’s new director of summer session will succeed Blake Nemelka, who has accepted a position at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Finalists and their presentation times are listed below:

* Thursday -- John Gipson, recruitment specialist/coordinator, Student Services, College of Health and Human Sciences, Purdue. 8:30 a.m., Stewart Center, Room 279.

* Friday -- Jonathan Manz, assistant director of residential life, Cornerstone Neighborhood and Academic Integration, University Residences, Purdue. 8:30 a.m., Stewart Center, Room 279.
