PayFlex implements new security measure to help prevent fraud, phishing scams

In light of increased fraud and phishing scams, Human Resources would like to notify employees of an additional security measure recently implemented by PayFlex, Purdue's flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) administrator.

As a means to prevent fraud and phishing attempts, PayFlex's customer service is now asking callers for the last four digits of their PayFlex credit cards. This additional security measure is in place to protect employees’ personal information, including but not limited to bank account numbers, passwords, and claim details. Employees should be cautious when asked to share personal information through email, websites or over the phone.

Questions can be directed to Human Resources at hr@purdue.edu or by phone at 49-42222.
