Parent and Family Connections seeking campus participants for Family Weekend

Parent and Family Connections is seeking to expand the schedule of events and opportunities during Family Weekend on Nov. 3-5. 

Family Weekend is held each year during a Purdue home football game weekend and gives families the opportunity to visit with their student on campus while engaging in events and activities. The Boilermakers will take on University of Illinois on Nov. 4. Football tickets for the Family Weekend game will be available in July. Check www.purduesports.com for updates.

Those interested in being included in the Family Weekend schedule should complete the Family Weekend interest submission form by Friday (March 24). Parent and Family Connections staff will then follow up with those interested to solidify events, locations, dates and times.

Parent and Family Connections also will hold an informational meeting for those interested in holding a Family Weekend event at 11 a.m. April 6 in Schleman Hall, Room B38. The meeting will cover signature events of Family Weekend and how areas can partner with Parent and Family Connections to program an event. 

The full Family Weekend schedule will be available at www.purdue.edu/parentandfamily this summer, and announcements will be made once the schedule is available.
