Campus tree care plan implementation continues this fall

Throughout the fall, the arborists in the Purdue Grounds Department will be removing and planting trees as part of their carefully developed campus tree care plan, a continuous improvement effort that guides the assessment, care and management of trees on the West Lafayette campus.

Each year, the Grounds Department ensures that more trees are planted than removed in order to add to the nearly 11,000 trees of more than 400 different varieties that currently live on campus.

Questions about the tree care plan may be directed to the Grounds Department at 494-3087.
