Student of concern reports may be made to Office of the Dean of Students

As the spring semester comes to an end, individuals concerned for the well-being or personal success of a student can file a student of concern report with the Office of the Dean of Students.

Reports can be submitted by faculty, staff, students and members of the community who know the student. Submissions can be reported anonymously if preferred.

Some concerns to watch for include excessive absence with no response to communication, observed behavior changes and concerning comments.

Once reports are received, the Office of the Dean of Students will provide individualized outreach to the student. Students will be invited to come to the office, discuss the reported concern and form a plan to address the issue or issues.

If an office or department would like to learn more about student of concern reports, presentation requests can be submitted at https://www.purdue.edu/advocacy/students/other/presentations.html
