Student Life Marketing supports Student Life and its departments. One way we achieve that is by offering training for those within Student Life on how to update and maintain their websites. Cascade is the university approved content management system that is used within Student Life. These trainings cover the Cascade content management system and the customized templates developed for the various Student Life websites.

A Cascade account is required to attend training. If you do not have a Cascade account, please submit a Marketing Work Order request.

• Introductory Part 1 & 2 - Compliance: This two-part training series must be taken together and will cover the basics of Cascade, how to edit content, provide basic best web practices and required steps in meeting ADA (Americans with Disabilities’ Act) compliance.
• Advanced: This will cover Modules and how they work within the newer website templates. To take this, you should have access to and a working knowledge of photo editing software, such as Photoshop. This training covers features only found in the newer ITAS-Core website templates.
