Leadership is a collection of skills and abilities that you will spend your lifetime developing and refining. Purdue has defined a set of competencies for you to use as a roadmap to your leadership and professional development pathway. There are countless ways for you to create your own experience and build your own path on campus.
In this video series, you can listen to Purdue alumni share their experiences and how they developed and continue to utilize these competencies in their careers and lives beyond their time on campus. This project is an ongoing collaboration between Purdue Honors College and the Roger C. Stewart Leadership & Professional Development Department, so check back frequently for new videos.

Aaron Banks explores personal responsibility and taking ownership for meeting expectations, based on his professional experience and his time as a quarterback for the Purdue football team. He earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering in 2019, after being the first student athlete in Purdue history to be elected Student Body President.
