Leadership Experience at Purdue
About
Thanks to a generous donation from Roger C. Stewart, we are able to offer this first-year leadership opportunity that utilizes CliftonStrengths for students and allows participants to gain tools in order to be successful at Purdue and beyond. This program provides training and coaching for participants to discover their natural talents and to develop their leadership capacity both in and out of the classroom. Participants will also begin their professional journey which will prepare them to secure internships and paid employment in the future.

Grounded in the same learning outcomes, LEAP retreat takes the highlights of the LEAP program and condenses it to one day, rather than 10 weeks. This retreat utilizes the same curriculum, while still being a comprehensive reatreat for all students. This retreat will take place in February 2026
