American Airlines AAdvantage Gold Status

Purdue employees who travel for university business may be eligible for a limited-time offer from American Airlines to receive immediate AAdvantage Gold® status. 

The AAdvantage Gold® Instant Status Pass™ promotion gives eligible travelers Gold status benefits for an initial four-month period. Travelers may keep or advance their status by earning qualifying Loyalty Points during the promotion. 

This opportunity may be especially helpful for employees who do not currently have airline status and want access to travel benefits such as preferred seating, priority check-in and boarding, checked bag benefits and upgrade opportunities. 

To participate, travelers must be AAdvantage members. Membership is free, and travelers should join before registering for the promotion. 

Interested employees should review the promotion details and register through the American Airlines campaign page. Travelers have until Oct. 23, 2026 to register.
