Most countries experience the double burden of disease where obesity and undernutrition exist simultaneously. We get distracted by our fears of food processing, additives, and GMOs when the larger problem is getting recommended nutrient intakes while keeping energy balance for healthy weight.

The seminar is open to the public. This is part of a weekly seminar on Food Security, where invited speakers from Purdue and outside the university help elevate the dialogue on the availability, access, and use of food in our world.
