The Annual Meeting will address VACCINE's mission and accomplishments in the fields of education/outreach and research that have occurred within the last year. The event will include speakers and panelists addressing topics such as the use of visual analytics/technology in the areas of public safety and specialized areas/government agencies. Representatives from VACCINE partners and institutions will be present to share information on specialized research projects taking place within their organizations during the past year.

Our keynote speaker on this day will be Chief Glenn Gaines, the Acting U.S. Fire Administrator. He will talk about the challenges firefighters and first responders face in today’s data-driven society and how DHS is enabling and driving Science and Technology to respond to these challenges.
