Description

Dr. Robert Hamlen, former Chief of the Power Division for the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics R&D Center, will discuss the various types of batteries used by the military, and goals for future portable and mobile power sources.  Key needs relate to the desire for an overall power source to be worn by the soldier, such as a fuel cell, and wireless charging of the various items that he needs, such as radios and weapons systems.
