Songlin Fei (FNR), Linda Prokopy (HLA) Jen-Yi Huang (FSCI), and Ron Turco (AGRY) will provide some insight based on their experiences as SAS awardees and/or reviewers. 

The panelists will discuss: 

1. Systems approaches 

2. Community engagement and co-production

3. Evaluation/assessment (without breaking the bank)

4. One to two major challenges encountered during the proposal development process (from ideation to submission) 

5. Other tips for successful proposal preparation 

We will also discuss resources available to PIs and their teams in developing SAS and other large interdisciplinary proposals.
