Clean Energy Challenge Callout

Purdue University is a proud partner in the Clean Energy Trust. Purdue Students are encouraged to participate in the Clean Energy Challenge 2012 in which the top state winner
receives $10K and the top regional winner receives $100K. The Clean Energy Challenge will be held March 2012.

The call-out for detailed information about the Clean Energy Challenge is Monday, October 17th at 6:00 p.m. in RAWLS 3082.
The format of the call out will be a panel of clean energy/sustainability faculty, researchers, community members followed by networking and some potential team formation around some of the great ideas students have.
Teams may contain faculty, students from other schools, or non-students but only students are eligible to present and receive prize money.
- Ventures with revenues prior to the current academic year are excluded. Ventures that have raised equity capital from sources other than the members of the student team before the current academic year are excluded.
- A business venture that reaches the Finals may not compete in future Clean Energy Student Challenge competitions.
- Prize money will not be awarded to an individual. The applicant must incorporate in the geographic region of the Student Challenge to be eligible for awards.
