Tracking the Biosphere's Response to Climate: A Tale of Two Tracers
Description
Dr. Wu Sun will discuss how atmospheric observations of CO2 and carbonyl sulfide, a new photosynthetic tracer, can help inform regional-scale responses of photosynthesis and respiration to climate. He will share his work on using tall-tower CO2 observations to determine patterns of carbon uptake and temperature responses of respiration in North American biomes. Contact Lisa Welp if you are interested in meeting with Dr. Sun.
