Poetry Reading: Marianne Boruch presents "Bestiary Dark"

Institute for a Sustainable Future
September 8, 2022
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Krannert Auditorium

Description

Join Purdue's English Department and the Institute for a Sustainable Future for a free reading by poet and professor emeritus Marianne Boruch. Boruch will be reading excerpts from her work Bestiary Dark, poems that "face the ancient, unsettling relationship of humans and the natural world - the looming effect we've wrought on wildlife - and what solace and repair our learning even a little might mean."

This event is the first of a year-long series of events by ISF entitled "Imagining a Sustainable Future" that explores how we visualize sustainability across a range of disciplines.
