Dr. Frances Colón, science and environmental policy expert and science diplomat during the Obama administration, will discuss the key role of science and innovation for strengthening diplomacy and development cooperation between the United States and Latin America in a distinguished lecture event co-sponsored by the Center for the Environment and PPRI. Dr. Colón will be joined by former U.S. Ambassador to Costa Rica Anne Slaughter Andrew for a follow-up discussion. 

The virtual event, “Science Diplomacy: US and Latin America in a New Era of Cooperation” will be hosted via WebEx on Tuesday March 16, from 3-4 pm. Register for the event here
