Arequipa Nexus Institute and UNSA’s College of Agronomy will present a panel as part of the Colle of Agronomy’s 40th Anniversary. The event will take place on December 3 from 12-1 PM.  

Prof. Marshall Martin (Purdue) and Prof. Matteo Pocco (UNSA) will discuss their findings for a strategic plan for UNSA’s CIEPA-Majes agricultural experimental station. The CIEPA Majes (Center for Research, Teaching and Agricultural Production at Majes) is one of the main centers that the Nexus Institute researchers use in Arequipa and it is where UNSA has plans to build the Arequipa Nexus Institute Research facilities. Also, Arequipa-Nexus researcher Lucia Zuniga will present her findings on drip irrigation impact on the unique dessert soils of the CIEPA-Majes.
