Institute for a Sustainable Future
November 19, 2024
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
MRGN 129

Description

In August 2024, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce released a commissioned study on Indiana’s water supply intended to inform a future integrated water management plan for the state. General findings in the new report reveal water in the state is plentiful, but not evenly distributed. The report also outlines an iterative approach to developing regional and state water plans including relevant stakeholders. The ISF Environmental Justice and Water Challenges research communities will discuss the report findings, opportunities to include social justice in the state water plan, and potential future research collaborations. Participants are encouraged to review the report summary before this event here
