The seminar focusses on Agilent’s software GeneSpring to analyze NGS /multi-omics data and on Agilent’s target enrichment technology to improve efficiency of sequencing. All of these topics will be covered in three different sessions. First session will cover the NGS module of GeneSpring providing an overview and demo of the software. The second session will cover Agilent’s SureSelect, a target enrichment technology to specifically enrich the next gen sequencing samples with the desired DNA/RNA regions.A small aspect of the talk will also discuss microarrays and the ability of Agilent to customize products for non-model organisms---applications which can be analyzed by GeneSpring to provide researchers a full picture of GeneSpring and Agilent. The last session will cover multi-omics module of GeneSpring by providing an overview and demo of the software.
