The Women’s Global Health Institute (WGHI) is holding a symposium Sept 27-28 at Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship at Purdue University. Launched in March of 2012, the WGHI has already formed a dynamic core of researchers committed to the vision of targeted research to improve women’s health worldwide. The symposium will reveal a sampling of the breadth and variety of the research at Purdue from basic to applied, by drawing expertise across campus. Featured speakers include: Azza Ahmed (Nursing), Kim Buhman (Nutrition Science), Ulrike Dydak (Health Sciences), Jennifer Freeman (Health Sciences), Joseph Irudayaraj (Agricultural and Biomedical Engineering), Larry Leverenz (Health and Kinesiology), Phil Low (Chemistry), Chris Rochet (Pharmacy), and Connie Weaver (Nutrition Science
