Tours of the Wade Utility Plant and Outdoor Features

A variety of educational tours are available for individuals or groups to learn more about Physical Facilities and its collaborative efforts with other campus organizations.

Wade Utility Plant

Physical Facilities operates its own utility plant and provides campus with heating, cooling and electricity. Tours of the Wade Utility Plant are available to many audiences, including classes and industry groups.

Tour participants are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) supplied by the plant, including a hard hat and safety glasses, throughout the tour. Individuals must wear long pants and fully-enclosed shoes. High heels are not encouraged.

Tours are subject to availability. To schedule a tour, please contact the Wade Utility Plant main office at (765) 494-2306 in advance.
