Purdue performers to offer Singing Valentines

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Would you like to say “I love you” with a song? Have Purdue Musical Organizations do it for you with a Singing Valentine.
On Friday, Feb. 13, a group of student performers from Purdue Musical Organizations will sing a romantic tune and deliver a rose, cookie and personalized card to locations throughout the Greater Lafayette area or sing a song by phone to long-distance loves.
Song selections include "L-O-V-E," "A Bushel and a Peck," "I Just Called To Say I Love You," and "Then Came You."
Singing Valentines cost $30, and orders must be placed and paid for by Tuesday, Feb. 10. Valentines delivered by phone will not include the rose, cookie or card. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted. Checks should be made payable to Purdue University and should be mailed to PMO Singing Valentines, Ralph & Bettye Bailey Hall, 359 Northwestern Ave., West Lafayette, IN, 47906. Orders may be placed online at www.purdue.edu/pmo/pmo-singing-valentines.
Limited time slots are available, and all orders will be confirmed on or before Feb. 11. For information or to make arrangements, contact Purdue Musical Organizations at 765-494-3328. If your order has not been confirmed by Feb. 12, contact PMO at that number. All orders are non-refundable. In the event of an official closing of Purdue, all Singing Valentines will be delivered on the next available business day.
