‘Tobacco Cessation Overview’ scheduled to share resources, strategies for quitting tobacco

A Healthy Boiler workshop titled “Tobacco Cessation Overview” will be held virtually from noon to 1 p.m. ET on Nov. 17, the third Thursday in November, which is recognized as the Great American Smokeout.

Presented by Lindsay Bloom, health coach at Purdue Fort Wayne, the overview is designed to share Purdue resources as well as high-level strategies for quitting tobacco and supports the physical health pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program.

Those interested should register by Nov. 16 via the Healthy Boiler Portal. A registration link can be found under the “Healthy Boiler Workshops” section on the portal’s home page. Hover over “Tobacco Cessation Overview” and select “Submit” to register.

Healthy Boiler workshops are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan.
