The upcoming Healthy Boiler workshop titled “Get Active” takes place from noon to 1 p.m. ET on June 24 and supports the physical health and behavioral health pillars of the Healthy Boiler Program.

“Getting active can improve fitness, reduce stress, reduce risk for many chronic diseases and ease symptoms of anxiety and depression,” says Lindsay Bloom, health coach at Purdue Fort Wayne, who is leading the workshop. “Attendees can celebrate National Physical Fitness and Sports month with me by learning about the physical and mental benefits of physical activity so they can start feeling better overall.

Those interested should register by June 23 via the Healthy Boiler Portal. The registration link can be found under the “Healthy Boiler Workshops” section on the portal’s homepage. Hover over the workshop’s square and hit “Submit” to register.

Healthy Boiler workshops are free to all benefits-eligible employees and dependents covered on a Purdue health plan.
