As part of the Healthy Boiler Program’s workshop series, “Rethink Your Drink” will be held via WebEx from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday (June 2).

Led by Lindsay Bloom, health coach at Purdue University Fort Wayne, this workshop will teach participants about the benefits of choosing water for overall health and reducing intake of soda, energy drinks and sports drinks. The relationship between sugar-sweetened beverage consumption and increasing heart rate also will be discussed. The workshop supports the physical health pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program.

Those interested in participating should sign up by June 1 via the Healthy Boiler Portal. Registration link can be found under the “Engage” tab, “Wellness Events” on the portal’s homepage. The WebEx link will be emailed before the workshop.

Healthy Boiler workshops are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan.
