Resources available to assist employees with benefits open enrollment; enroll by 6 p.m. Tuesday

As the enrollment deadline for 2020 benefits approaches, employees are reminded that Human Resources staff members are available in walk-in labs on all Purdue campuses to help employees who have questions about their enrollment. The walk-in labs are among the various resources available to employees, as outlined below.

All benefits-eligible employees on the West Lafayette, Fort Wayne and Northwest campuses are strongly encouraged to actively enroll for 2020 benefits. Some benefits require the employee to provide additional information, such as tobacco user certification, health savings and flexible spending account contributions and spousal coverage. The deadline to enroll is 6 p.m. ET Tuesday (Nov. 12).

Tobacco-user status does not roll forward in the system; therefore, employees must enroll to complete the tobacco-user survey questions, as well as the others, in order to ensure that 2020 benefits are correct. Throughout the two-week open enrollment period, employees have several tools and resources available to help through the process.

Walk-in labs are available on all Purdue campuses throughout open enrollment; a complete list of labs can be found under “Resources” on the dedicated enrollment webpage.
