Human Resources alerting employees of home delivery of 2022 benefits statements

In preparation for open enrollment for 2022 benefits, benefits statements were mailed last week to benefits-eligible employees’ home addresses and should be arriving soon.

The benefits statement — personalized for each employee on the West Lafayette, Fort Wayne and Northwest campuses — provides an easy-to-understand report of total rewards and the value associated with each component. It includes employee take-home pay as well as the value of any of the benefits received from Purdue. Open enrollment will begin Oct. 26 and end at 6 p.m. ET Nov. 9.

Employee total rewards include:

• Direct compensation.
• The amount Purdue pays for the employee’s benefits, particularly medical coverage.
• Purdue contributions to the employee’s retirement account.
• Purdue base contributions to the employee’s HSA or HRA (health savings account or health reimbursement account).
• Additional financial incentives received for participating in the Healthy Boiler Program.

Purdue’s Heathy Boiler Program, a multifaceted approach to overall well-being organized around five pillars (behavioral health, financial wellness, physical health, social wellness and work-life integration) – aligns with even more benefits, such as:  

• Paid parental leave.
• An on-site health clinic – West Lafayette and Fort Wayne campuses.
• A free employee assistance program (EAP) – each campus has a unique EAP provider.
• West Lafayette campus – SupportLinc
• Fort Wayne campus – Bowen Center
• Northwest campuses – New Avenues
• Free Care.com membership via care.com.
• Access to exercise facilities and more.
