Healthy Boiler workshop to focus on health care in retirement

Human Resources is offering a virtual Healthy Boiler workshop, titled “Prepare for the Reality of Healthcare in Retirement,” from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 2. The workshop supports the financial wellness, physical health and behavioral health pillars of the Healthy Boiler Program.

Led by Tosin Ratchford, retirement planner and registered securities and licensed insurance representative with Fidelity, the workshop will provide information that will help attendees who are planning to retire within the next few years:

  • Estimate retirement health care costs.
  • Understand available options before and after age 65.
  • Plan for retirement health care costs.

Those interested should register by Sept. 1. Once the registration process is completed, individuals will receive a Zoom link that can be added to their calendars.

Save the Date for the upcoming 'Road to Retirement' program

Plans are in the works for an all-virtual Road to Retirement event slated for Sept. 23-25. More information will be shared via email and Purdue Today closer to the event’s kickoff. In the meantime, take a look at Purdue’s “Road to Retirement” webpage for past program presentations.
