Move bicycles weekly to avoid abandoned property process

Parking and Transportation Services asks the campus community, including faculty and staff, to move their bicycles or electric and motor powered vehicles (EMPVs) at least once a week. To maintain parking availability and facilities, bicycles and EMPVs that are left at nonresidential campus buildings for more than a week will be tagged and the process for abandoned property will begin. More on this process and removal procedures can be found online.

Owners are encouraged to register their bicycle or EMPV with the Purdue University Police Department to assist with reclaiming lost or impounded property.

Students already have been notified of upcoming removal efforts.

Questions may be directed to Aaron Madrid, alternative transportation coordinator, at madrida@purdue.edu.
