Registration

Individuals who wish to park their bicycles on campus are strongly encouraged to register their bicycle with Parking Operations. Individuals with electric or motor powered vehicles (EMPVs) on campus must register their EMPVs per Traffic and Parking Regulations. If assistance is ever needed with a bike or EMPV (e.g. lock maintenance, repairs, instruction, etc.), Parking Operations will only be able to help if the device is registered or the serial number is provided.

Registration for West Lafayette

Bring your bicycle to Parking Operations (STEW, room G054) and ask about registration. For EMPVs, just bring a photo of the device with the serial number. Registration is available on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Other opportunities to register your bicycle or EMPV may be available at a variety of events like the Purdue Farmers Market throughout the year.

If you have a smartphone, download the “529 Garage” app prior to coming to register your device. Bring your phone with you.

Your bicycle or EMPV is NOT registered until Parking OPerations has confirmed your information and a sticker has been distributed.

Contact parking@purdue.edu for additional information about registration.
