Campus Mobility
Micromobility
Micromobility includes a range of lightweight devices that are manually- or electric-powered and ridden by users, such as bicycles, skateboards, e-bikes and e-scooters.
Electric and motor powered vehicles (EMPVs) include any wheeled vehicle, not required to be registered with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, which utilizes battery power to fully or partially propel its operator, including, but not limited to, electric skateboards, scooters, bikes, hoverboards, Segways, etc. This definition does not include assistive devices such as motorized wheelchairs.
Mopeds do not fall under the micromobility umbrella and should adhere to the rules, regulations and laws of motor vehicles. More information on mopeds is available on the parking website.
Report Your Missing/Stolen Device
If you believe your device has been lost or stolen on campus, complete a non-emergency report.
DONATE YOUR BICYCLE OR EMPV
Students, staff and faculty who no longer want their bicycles or EMPVs are encouraged to donate them to Purdue Parking Operations. Donating or recycling your unwanted device reduces environmental waste and makes micromobility more affordable and readily available to the Purdue community.
Contact parking@purdue.edu to schedule a drop-off time at the Parking Operations office if you wish to donate your bicycle or EMPV.
