November 1, 2019
First week of benefits open enrollment 2020 heads into the weekend; deadline to enroll is Nov. 12
Week one of benefits open enrollment 2020 is heading into the weekend. As a reminder, this weekend is the first of two weekends employees at the West Lafayette, Fort Wayne and Northwest campuses have to use during the open enrollment time frame. Enrollment ends at 6 p.m. ET Nov. 12. Faculty and staff who have not yet enrolled for their 2020 benefits are encouraged to do so either via the OneCampus portal or the Benefitfocus app. No changes to benefit plans will be accepted after that date unless there is a qualifying life event (change in family status).
The dedicated enrollment website for open enrollment 2020 provides all the need-to-know information for faculty and staff to ensure they make the best selections for themselves and their families. From the website, faculty and staff can access not only the detailed enrollment guide (available in Spanish and J-1 Visa versions also), but also videos and recorded presentations to help them select coverage best suited to their needs. Additionally, the newsroom provides direct access to past emails and Purdue Today articles relevant to open enrollment 2020. Employees are encouraged to explore the dedicated enrollment website and use the many resources available to them.
WALK-IN LABS
Walk-in labs are available on all Purdue campuses throughout open enrollment; employees are encouraged to stop by a lab for help with their enrollment. A complete list of labs can be found under “Resources” on the dedicated enrollment webpage.
