Coming Out Resources

If you are considering coming out to your loved ones and friends

When possible, it is best to think through the process of coming out and create a plan before coming out. Always prioritize your safety and security above all else. You can speak with a staff member of the LGBTQ Center who can help you build a plan for coming out. If you would like to meet with a staff member, you can 1) stop by HIKS G988 Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, email LGBTQ@purdue.edu, or call 765-496-6231 for a drop-in appointment or to schedule a meeting.

If you experience a crisis related to coming out, there are a number of resources you can access. Learn more
