Southwest Indiana Melon and Vegetable Growers’ Annual Meeting will be held in French Lick Resort & Casino on March 11, 2022. Ariana Torres attended the S1087 multi-state meeting in Miami, FL. The multistate group titled Sustainable Practices, Economic Contributions, Consumer Behavior, and Labor Management in the U.S. Environmental Horticulture Industry met to discuss project’s outcomes and new data collection efforts. We also visited ornamental growers in Florida adopting automated machinery and growing specialty ornamentals.
