MacArthur Drive closure to remain in place as construction on residence hall continues

Updated August 19, 2024 to reflect the reopening of the dining court and loading dock.

As construction on a new residence hall continues, travel restrictions will remain in place around Hillenbrand Residence Hall as outlined below.

MacArthur Drive from Third to First Streets will remain closed. All parking along this section of MacArthur Drive is unavailable, and alternate Residence Hall permit parking is available in the nearby McCutcheon Drive Parking Garage.
The Hillenbrand Dining Court and loading dock have reopened for the start of the fall semester.
CityBus riders are encouraged to continue checking the real-time GPS tracking of buses on the CityBus website or MyCityBus mobile app.

Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should use extreme caution in the area and obey all posted signs and detours.
