Third and Russell Street nearby parking, sidewalk restrictions

Construction of the new Third Street North residence hall at the intersection of Third and Russell Streets is ongoing with an expected completion in August 2020. 

The following existing restrictions in the area will remain in place while work continues for the coming year: 

• Lanes are restricted along along Russell Street between Third and Fifth Streets, and the adjacent sidewalk and parking are unavailable

• The A/B permit parking lot at the northeast corner of Russell and Fourth Street is closed 

  • A/B parking replaces residence hall parking east of Tarkington and Wiley Residence Halls during the project

  • Alternate residence hall permit parking is available in the McCutcheon Drive Parking Garage on the second level and above

Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians should use caution in the vicinity, seek alternate routes and and obey all posted signs.
